28 days to go!!

So here we are...just about 37 weeks which is considered full term! It could be any day now! I go to the OB once a week for a checkup now. They measure the size of my belly each time. The number of centimeters from top to bottom should be equal to the number of weeks that I am and Baby Fisch is measuring right on track! At our last ultrasound, they estimated him to be about 7-7.5 pounds right now. He's supposed to gain about half a pound a week..so I'm hoping he comes a little early!!! The rest of the house is coming together. The basement is finished and the kitchen is just about done. We just need to finish organizing a few things and will eventually put up a nice backsplash. The carpets are getting cleaned this weekend, the car is getting detailed and the car seat is getting installed. Gramma Dee Dee and Granpa Jeff are officially moving to their new home on MAY 15th!!!!! Anytime after that Baby Fisch is allowed to be born :) We'll see if he cooperates! There have definitely been some changes with me that tell me my body is getting ready for labor...some Braxton Hicks contractions, some GI issues (which I won't detail). Some days he feels like he's pushing down a lot lower than other days (the Waddle becomes more pronounced). And I spend more time sitting and peeing than I do sitting in rush hour traffic! Sleep is coming and going. Some nights I sleep great, others I am up every few hours. Luckily I seem to be able to function with very little sleep, so I feel confident I'll be able to handle whatever sleep schedule this kid decides to be on...now can Josh handle it? That is to be determined. I started taking random days off from work here and there just to break up the week. It's quite nice! Well here are a few pictures of our latest ultrasound (the kid refuses to take his hand away from his face!) but he loves to play with his toes! He reminds me of our silverback gorilla Jabari, who loves to do the same thing! Finally, we have a little bit of video footage, but it's starting to get pretty cramped in there! The quality starts to degrade as he gets bigger, but it's better than nothin'!
