2 Months Old!

Oh they say it goes by fast, but seriously?!?! 2 months?!??! Wyatt continues to amaze us every day. He can hold his head up pretty well now and is starting to gain some control over his appendages. The swaddle blanket is by far the greatest invention of all time. We have 3 different kinds and they are the best way to get him to sleep. Speaking of sleep, everyone's favorite question is 'is he sleeping through the night?'. Well let's define 'night'. Is he going to sleep at 8 and not making a peep until 8 the next morning? Hell no. BUT he goes to sleep without a fight (for the most part) between 7 and 8 and will sleep for at least 4 hours, but has gone almost 6 on occasion! He gets up, I feed him and put him back in bed about 20 minutes later and he's good for another 3-4 hours. He's definitely moving towards the 'sleeping through the night' trend. His naps during the day are getting better too. He went from only sleeping for about a half hour at a time in his swing, to a nice hour-2 hour nap in his crib in the morning. The afternoons are hit or miss, but he will take a few half hour naps in the swing or the car depending on what we're doing.

Wyatt also has his own playgroup! We meet Brynn and her newest addition Wesley, and Michelle and her baby boy Tyler about once a week for lunch and mommy time. Once the boys get bigger we hope they like each other :) All three are wednesday babies. Tyler is 2 weeks behind Wyatt, and Wes is 3 weeks younger than Wyatt. However Tyler is definitely the bruiser of the bunch! He's in the middle :)

Well Wyatt has his first set of vaccinations next week. Wish us luck! The doctor recommended some infant Tylenol before we head in, but I can't find it anywhere due to the recent recall! Good thing we have a tough kid!
